I have a 99 hyundai accent, 130,000 miles, 4 cylinder engine. My question is what would cause my car to make a whistling noise, when I fisrt start it up. I turn the engine on, and I hear a whistling sound coming from the front, but it stops after about a minute.

Whistling noise is usually some sort of intake or vaccuum leak, have some 1 listen under hood when u start it up to try to pinpoint area where the noise is coming from. I have seen intake gaskets do this B4
