A/C problem

My Air conditioning system feels cool but not up to it capacity, when I open the bonnet and start the AC I can see and feel it starts and stop. This happend continuesly.

I also checked with a AC tester, when the AC is on on the Lower side goes up to 60 and higher side come up to 50and stays on

can anyone help me pls?

It would more likely be a fuse problem since so many items failed at the same time.

Check the underhood fuses.

All those fuses are good as I stated in the original question. Are there any more fuses anywhere in the vehicle that could be causing this? Could it be a relay?

Yes, Then I got the gas refilled. It seems like cooling but the start n stop problem is still there, some sort of motor trying to start then last for about few seconds then stops ans re-try again. When is happen I feel the whole car is vibrating.

Here are the schematics for the AC. Check through them for fuses and relay. Here is a guide to help you test the relay and wiring diagrams to help you see how the system works.

The high side should be operating at between 180 to 250 and I am surprised it is showing 50.

The low side should be around 30.

When compressor has been stopped for a while, both readings should read at abut 90. Please recheck the pressure reading.

You're welcome and glad to know you have fixed the problem.

By the way if the gas level was low, you should monitor the situation aa there could possibly be a leak somewhere and problem would recur.

Yes, I've got dyed and detected using a ultra violet torch, leakes fixed.
