I went to the store and came back and tried to start my car and failed three times. I have recently replaced my transmission (2000 accord transmission are known to be faulty). I used my code reader to check and came up with a 1399 and a 1738. I was wondering what could be wrong with it. I can't really afford another big repair after spending 2k on the transmission and engine mounts. I checked the engine bay and wires for any loose wires and pushed any that I saw. The car started after I left the key in and turned it slowly.

Hi azndrag3,

I suspect the ignition switch is faulty. There was a Technical Service Bulletin out regarding the switch and you should call your local to see if your vehicle is within the range stipulated.
