1991 Honda Accord Transmission Problem

The transmission was operating fine in reverse but had trouble moving forward and the "sport shift" light was flashing, but after turning the car off and waiting a hour or so the light was no longer flashing and the transmission worked properly.

When the S mode lights blinks, an error in the control system has been detected. You can retriee the trouble code but jumpimg the SCS connector and read the blinking of the S light to verify which component caused the problem.

The code is required to understand what went wrong
After turning ignition off, the trouble code is temporarily erased from the indicator light and while driving any and problem occurs, the S light would start blinking again.

Get the code and let me know what it is.

When the S light flashes, the trans control unit would go into limp mode which causes the trans to shift erratically.
