Hello,

I noticed that my car, when transiting between the first gear and the next it hesitates, this is more frequent when I want to suddenly increase my speed it doesn't respond to this action as expected and then suddenly shoots forward.

Please, what could be the cause of this.

I sometimes had an accident and changed the engine yet this did not change so I have to suspect the transmission though, at first I suspected the vacuum advance unit.

please, your response will be most appreciated.

Hi there,

I would be thinking that it is a problem with a solenoid valve in the transmission, I would get it serviced by a transmission specialist and get them to test and report on this problem, I really needs to have a few test done to pin point this problem.

Hi mark,

How do I locate of these solenoid valves on the transmission.

Can I do the servicing as an electrical engineer and have handled solenoids valves before. Just need to look for a socket to use.

Thank you
