I bought the Accord this week, and as soon as I put it into drive. Which says D4 D3, 1, 2 shifts. The accord did not want to move, I drove it 1 day and it began to shift downward, jerking me all the way down the highway. I was so afraid the transmission would drop out there.I managed to get it to the car dealer.A 1 owner guy named Chris has this car lot. He said he would fix my Honda Accord. And the trarnsmission is leaking out badly.I ask him to replace transmission, is this necessary to replace it. Or just fix it. So what would this cost me to have this fixed? And the odometer where shows how fast I am going, is not workinmg too. So is this a major problem too?
Thank you,

There is no repair to the tranny's. They are not meant to be taken apart and repaired. Cost would greatly depend on what you have put in and where it comes from. Several hours of labor to remove and replace. I had a hard time following your message completely but you mentioned leaking. I was going to ask if this vehicle has been sitting for awhile.

The speedometer is probably the guage itself. They can go out, usually do and I would replace it with a used one.
