Hi, the vehicle is experiencing hard starting early in the morning, the vehicle has to be crank several times before it starts, whenever it starts and runs for a while, it will start properly all through that day. The following day the problem continues. The fuel pump has been replaced.
What could be the problem?

It sounds like the throttle bore needs to be serviced or the engine coolant sensor is off when cold. Does the engine have any codes?

Here is a guide that can help:

Here is the location of the engine coolant sensor which you should be able to unplug when the problem is happening to see if it makes a difference. Also, I have seen defective fuel pump cause this issue as well, did the car have the exact same problem with the old pump?

Please run the codes as well.

Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
