Can I spray all the junk from around fuel injectors with 2+2? If not what's okay to use?

Good morning,

Yes, you can use 2+2. Make sure you let it sit for a while to evaporate before starting. If there is heat or a spark leak, all that spray would ignite under the hood and you would have a fire.

Are you having a issue with the injectors?

No problems with injectors yet. Started to replace cam cover gaskets, wishing I would have pulled the motor now. Back yard mechanical technologies at work here. Darn weather.

I understand.

I just do not want you to start a fire. 2+2 is great stuff and works as well as brake kleen. They are just very flammable.

The lower housing to the head has a gasket but the upper cover does not. You use sealer. The gray sealer is what is used from the factory.

When #1 cylinder popped pressure piston was down I turned it clockwise until at TDC, bottom crank mark was pointing north as book shows, but cams were pointing south. Has this Chevrolet been running for years with with the 2 cams 1/2 rotation out. It has always shook hard at stops?

Okay, since we are off on another area of concern, please go back to the beginning and start a new question on the timing chain.

I will be glad to help with this but you need to start a new question.
