Fuel pump stopped working how can I remove the gas from the tank?

Pretty sure my fuel pump is out I have a half tank of fuel. Can it be siphoned or something else to remove it? Need to know ASAP got to get it running.

Hello. Yes, you can siphon it out of there. You'll need a hose that's at least 6 feet long, maybe more.

One trick I've used was to disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter (driver's side of the truck, under it, mounted to the frame rail) and point the house into a bucket. Then I ran a hot wire from the positive battery cable to the output terminal on the fuel pump relay. While my pump wasn't putting out much pressure, I managed to fill the 5 gallon bucket and empty it into my wife's tank 3 times. Took about a half hour once it was set up.

Also, a quick YouTube search turned up several videos. I'd link them for you, but I can't get any of them to pull up for some reason and don't want to link any videos that I can't screen first.

The tank was full. 18 gallons and I had just left the gas station. Anyways, if you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Good luck!
