Hello, I have this problem with my van:

When I start the van it works perfectly, after 10 minutes approximately, when I step the gas pedal down it starts to fail, the fuel gauge acts like crazy spinning around, I change the fuel pump, the fuel tank pressure sensor and the relay, the problem remains, the only thing I notice it's a little bit better is the van don't "shut off" when I stop on a red light or on a stop sign. Can anyone help me with this issue? I'm going to post a video to show what happened. The sound is not the best but we can hear the van failing.

Good afternoon,

Can you check the actual fuel pressure when the issue is present to verify the proper pressure?

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Fuel Pressure .................... 60-66psi
KOEO (Key On Engine Off)

Does the check engine light come on when this happens. If it does, did you have code checked? That will give us a clue of the failure.

I attached a wiring diagram for you of the system. Verify battery voltage to the fuel pump when the issue is present.

Hello, I got a tester but I couldn't find the tester port on my van. :( When the car is stopped or on Neutral everything is normal, for example, I used the van this morning, 15 minutes after i'm driving that issue starts, I parked the van, I use the van again 3 hours later and it ran normally again, 15 to 20 minutes it happened again. Looks like the issue appears after the van is warm or after some minutes driving.

The check engine light never came up.

Thanks

The port is right by the distributor. The fuel line runs by the distributor and the test port is right there.

Remove the dog house to access the port.

Hello, unfortunately the tester I bought its not the right one. :( I am going to have to try to do that tomorrow.

There's a video with the problem when starts to happen. The lights on the cluster are blinking on the video only, they dont blink they stay stable.

Thanks Guys

The one thing I would do is to clean the battery cables very well.

Beyond that, I would clean the connectors at the ECM.
