Air Conditioning problem
1999 Ford Taurus Automatic

I have a question about my ac, it was working fine then all of a sudden it stopped blowing cold air. I already checked the refridgerant and it said there was something mechanically wrong. Then I discharged it and tried to refill it but it didn't really take very much then it said it was full! So I don't get it what else could be wrong? Why is it not cooling?

When you turn the switch to AC inside the car, the clutch on the front of the AC compressor should start turning. You should also notice a difference in the idle as the compressor kicks on. If it isn't kicking on and turning, check the AC relay. If that is okay, it may be the pressure switch.
