the door on the drivers side will not close. No latching on to anything whatsoever. There was no damage to the vehicle and was not attempted to be broken into. Any advice or suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!

Pull the door panel to inspect the door lock, latch, and related parts. Chilton manual may help with the project.
