1998 Ford Ranger truck revving up by itself

I changed tps sensor ok for a while then it started revving up again i'lll give up and need your help now this morning it started to run rough like it wanted to die on me but finally even it up

Is the Check Engine Light showing?

When you replaced the TPS, was it calibrated correctly?

Check for vacumn leakages at intake manifold.
Check the IAC.

Check engine been on dash board longer before problem iac? Is the idle mixture control? On intake?
I'll check for leaks while i'm there
i have a code scanner see what it say's
someone told me it was air valve don't know where it is ao what to look for
you guys are great hope you give me input back

IAC = Idle Air Control.
