1989 Ford Probe Manual 142614 miles

I have a problem with my clutch it first started off by just hard to shift the gears and now it is making a grinding noise.
I did have the clutch repaired b4 and it has been i'd say about 2 years ago.
But the problem now is that the gears are sticking again and I can not find out where I purchased the Clutch repair kit from.
So therefore I do not have a warranty on the clutch repair kit. Until I am able to figure that out.
So is there any infomation that any of you can give to help me either by finding out who I purchased the Clutch Repair Kit From or is it a easy way to see from the part itsellf which as we now is installed in my probe.
Akso any suggestions as to where I may be able to get the best deal on a Clutch Repair kit for my
1989 Ford Probe Turbo/2.2/5 speed in denver, colorado.
And also I have read posts in this forum which states that it could be alot of other things then the Clutch.
EX. Pressure plate, clutch put in backwards, hoses, belts worn etc.

Please respond as soon as possible for my car is down right now and I would like to be able to pick my son up from school instead of him catching the bus home.

Hi, well if you have drove the car for two years, then it is safe to say it is not in backwards.

And as where you bought the clutch from. Most auto stores carry a couple diff types of clutches.

But whereever you buy other parts from is prob where you got that one. The parts store can pull the clutch info from your name or phone number. I would go that route first you will have a warranty file there.

All parts store clutch kit will be within a few dollars of each other. Do you remember who put the clutch in? Can you get in touch with them? Good luck billymac
