So I drive a 96' mustang GT with about 117,000 miles on her, with some modifications. Took off the catalytic converter, put on under drive pulleys, intake, you know the small stuff engine wise. Anyways, I can defiantly smell gas and oil burning when idleing and only when I take off, I can see a cloud of blue/black smoke behind the car. Strange thing is, I can have it neutral and give it gas and theres NO smoke. What do think is the problem?

The problem is fluid is going where its not supposed to go you have a blown head gasket most likely or a cracked head or block I would compresiion check all the cylinders that will probably narrow it down more
