89 Ford F-150 4WD start trouble

Can someone explain what I might be the problem? My truck will start out on the selenoid but will not start on the switch. I have tested the switch and replaced it. It starts on hte selenoid but will not even turn over inside on the switch. Any suggestions?

Does your truck have a tilt wheel? If so the potmetal accuator down inside is the streering coluem is broke and needs to be replace. Very common proplem on ford tilt wheel turcks. Did the key use to start turning over hard? And then just quit starting truck? They are a pain. Motor might part number for that part is 83280 your local parts house should be able to cross the number to theres. 8) NOS
