Truck will not start ** new fuel pump will not turn on, but truck does run if I manually add power via a battery, to the pump the truck will run. The fuel pump will not self-engage***any ideas?

Guys***I am sorry***but what is the PCM? And how do I check it? And the inertia switch? ***Have already checked all fuses***there is power at the fuse end of the fuel pump as well as power at the fuel pump itself, fuel pump will only engage when I hook directly to a battery! *** Where exactly is the fuel pump relay?
