2001 Ford F-150 fuel tank

My fuel pump is bad and I need to replace it. My fuel tank is half full and I can't find a way to drain it. I removed the metal pipe from the fill point down to the rubber hose that goes into the tank and I still can't get my siphoning hose to reach the gasoline. Is there any easy way to drain the tank?

Your best bet would be to block up the tank and drop it down one inch at a time.

You may also be able to siphon it out with a pump hooked on the fuel pump on the out line.
