Electrical problem
1999 Ford Explorer Engine Size unknown Wheel Drive Type unknown Automatic 89000 miles

Hello Team

I am toying with buying an explorer haven never seen as this purchase is happening in Barbados and im in the UK.

I have had a mechnic look over the vehicle, and he has comented that the electrics for the front left window is not working and also the electric controls on the steering wheel are not working. This is the lights and volume controls.

Can you suggest if this is a major problem, or a simple electrical fault easy to fix?

Many thanks

I wouldnt get into that trouble. When it comes to electricla your going into headaches. Explorers r nice and feel very cool on the road but I would look for another one without electrical problems. And be advised explorers r tipical on having transmission problems. And not the best on gas.
