Hot air is blowing from rear vents but only room temp air is blowing from front dash vents. What would cause this?

I need you to check something. With the engine running, hot, and the heater on, feel both heater core hoses. Both should be hot. Let me know what you find. Also, make sure the vehicle is running at a normal operating temp.

Let me know what you find.

Hi,

If both heater core hoses are hot, that indicates the heater core is working and heat is present. However, it isn't making it into the passenger compartment.

Do you have the same year, make, and model as the original post? Have you checked the blend air door for operation?

Take a look at the attached two links. You may find them helpful.

Let me know.

Take care,
