Okay, I have the car listed above and I have put a lot of work into this vehicle already. I had a brand new water pump put in about 2 or 3 months ago. I have noticed my engine I getting to hot. I have also replace the thermostat it starts getting real bouncy instead if staying still like suppose to. When I check the engine coolant it's full everytime ince the water pump has been replaced. The hose at the top I guess that the coolant goes to the engine I just squeezed it and water came up out of the radiator were you put it in at which makes me think it's clogged and the coolant is not getting to the engine. What could be causing this?

Hello my name is Dave.

If coolant comes out of the radiator when you squeeze the hose this is normal since the system is supposed to be completely full and when you squeeze the hose the coolant has to go somewhere.

As far as your ongoing overheating issue we would need more information before we know what direction to go. First thing we need to know is if it overheats more when moving or sitting still. If it gets hotter when you stop then you should check and make sure your cooling fans are coming on. Another thing I am wondering about is you mentioned the temperature "bouncing". If your temp is moving rapidly enough for your gauge to "bounce" I wonder if you have an actual overheating problem or a problem with your gauge/wiring/sending unit.

If you could give us answers to these questions it will greatly help us narrow down the cause of your problem. We look forward to hearing back from you and thank you for using 2CarPros!
