My drive-train management light comes on but only when I go to around 3000 revs then the light comes on and will have black smoke coming out the back of the car, but if I pull over turn engine off then back on it is gone and will only come on like I said when I put my foot down a bit.

Scan for codes and check fuel pressure with a gauge auto parts rent it. also check for a vacuum leak auto parts scans for free and rents gauge for fuel. start there as it can be either. See link.
