Good afternoon,

No, the blend door is for the heat and cold.

The mode door controls defrost, vent and floor air controls.

What is your exact issue?

No air out of the front vents defroster is working. Before the air stopped working out of the front vents it wasn't cold. And A/C was working before. The cold and hot air does work on the vents by the windshield.

The procedure below with a couple of pictures for you to view. Easy to get and replace.

Roy

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect battery negative cable.
2. Remove left underpanel silencer/duct.
3. Remove electrical connection on actuator.
4. Remove actuator retaining screws. Then pull actuator straight down. Upon removal, note the shaft position of the actuator, because the shaft on this motor is keyed. When installing new actuator, its shaft must be positioned in the same location.
