the side mirror snapped off but the wires are still holding it to the car? How do I fix it?

You have to replace the whole mirror assembly. From inside the door, pop the "triangular" piece to the mirror. Remove the 3 bolts holding the assembly. Unplug the electrical connector. Installation for the new one is reversed.
