2000 Dodge Caravan dashboard lights

I have a 2000 dodge caravan with 110,000 miles. Last night I notice that I could not see my speedometer. The Lights are out on the dash board. Could this be just a fuse. If so can you please tell me were I can find the fuse box. The guy who look at my car wants me to bring it in but is charging me $50 just to tell me the problem.

On your right side when you open the hood beside your battery, there is a black box with small rubber clamps. Open it, you will see your fuses, and a diagram that will show wich fuse is doing what job.
