Recently my car has started ‘juddering’ whilst driving, where the tachometer goes up and down then finally stalls my car whilst driving. This normally happens when I’m changing gears or slowing down. I have been to a garage where the craft shank sensor has been changed, this lasted around a week before it started doing it again. The longest journey my car can make is around 15 minutes before it happens again. I am just wondering if it is the craft shank sensor still but since I’ve had a new one fitted if it could be anything else or even if my car is unfixable. Any suggestions?
Thank you, Phoebe.

Hi,

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so I have no technical information. However, I will try to help.

Has the fuel pressure been checked? Low fuel pressure can cause symptoms like this to occur. Also, even a plugged fuel filter.

Here is a link that shows how in general to check fuel pressure:

Check the pressure and see if it is within spec.

Let me know what you find.

Joe
