Coolant is running down the front of the bell-housing. Sometimes it is only drip drip, other times it pours, engine running or not. Thought it was rear freeze plugs but how could the leak ratio change so drastically? Used ramps to raise the front then the rear to see if it would affect the leak pattern, it did not. Also bypassed heater core no change.

You will have to inspect with a mirror to try and see were the leak is coming from. Elevating the engine will not do much as it is cooling system pressure that will determine the flow rate of coolant.

I raised the engine to see if it affected where it was dripping from. Already used mirror, does not work on this four wheel drive vehicle, I was hoping you knew the only possible places this type of leak could occur.

Leaking rear freeze plugs are a common thing on the Durango. The difference in flow could be caused by crud that blocks the leak. It could also be a leak from the rear of the intake or even the head gasket. An inspection camera would be a big help.

No sign of steam from those areas, and no coolant is where it should not be.I think your right about the freeze plugs because durangos are known to create crap in the cooling system due to low quality metals. THANK YOU SIR for steering me in the direction that iv been avoiding take care.
