Good afternoon.

The AC will shut down when the car is overheating. Once the issue is resolved, the AC will come back on line.

Possible causes:

1. Low coolant

2. Bad thermostat

3. Water pump not working

4. Radiator clogged

5. Head gasket leaking from constant overheating
