1998 Chevy Silverado baqd fuel milage

My truck has 23000 km still runs great bud recently has been getting really bad fuel millage no codes coming up bought the truck used and am not sure what has been done I did recently changed the feul pump any ideas.

Here are a few other things that cause poor fuel mileage. First and easiest is the air filter. A badly clogged air filter will kill fuel mileage. Next make sure you are getting good spark and fuel delivery. Also a restricted exhaust pipe will cause mileage to decrease. Tap on your exhaust pipes near the inlet of your muffler and catalyst with a rubber hammer. If you here items moving inside the exhaust system you may have a plugged exhaust. Alo keep in mind that mufflers do fail and seperate after long use.
