1998 Chevy S-10 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 98 chevy s10 pickup, 4 cyl. It had the typical bad fuel pump symptoms. I checked the relay (OK) and replaced the pump (not OK). Its not coming on when I turn the key (no buzz). What else do I check?

Fuel pump fuse okay-if so check the computer fuel pump relay control circuit-might not be energizing the relay.

Hello, you might check the ecmB fuse, plus that fuse circuit should be hot all the time. It should be located in the underhood electrical center.

The fuel pump relay supplies voltage to the pump and injectors both.
