My s10 has the 4.3 5 speed. When I bought it I thought it needed a fuel pump. I replaced the fuel pump only to find out it didnt help. I checked the relay and its fine. Even tried swapping it out with others that I know work. Im just not getting any juice to the fuel pump. I ran a hot wire and a ground from the battery to the pump and it will run but not good. Like its got a low voltage. I hooked hot to the grey and ground to the large black. Im not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

With connector loose from fuel pump, have helper crank it, while you check the actual voltage reading at the gray wire. If voltage and ground are good and the fuel pressure isn't, use a fuel pressure gage, then suspect the pump.
