1995 Chevy Monte Carlo need help please

Hi I have a 95 monte carlo that my friend lost my keys to and I can not find them I need help to figure out the resitance level for the new key I got a new lock and cylinder but that will not start my car without have the right resitance so I need help in figuring that out I know that there is 15 different ones that can be used I just gotta figure it out so I call tell my locksmith which one it is so I can get the right key cut thank you for any help you might be able to provide me in this matter I will be a waiting a response patiently once again thank you

Take you VIN to the dealer. If you bought the parts there they should (maybe with a little insistance) give you the resistance value.

If you didn't buy the parts there they may want to charge you but these things can often be negotiated.
