95 MONTE CARLO Z34 3.4 DOHC 134, OOO MILES. THIS VEHICLE WILL START AND REV TO 3000 RPM AND STALL, RETRY WILL REV UP AND MAY STALL OR DROP TO 1000 RPM AND IDLE VERY ROUGH. THE COLDER THE AIR TEMP IS THE WORSE IT IS. I REPLACED COOLANT TEMP SENSOR, THROTTLE POSITIONING SENSOR, IDLE AIR CONTROL VALVE NOTHING HAS HELPED, ONLY CODE EVER SET WAS FOR 02 SENSOR WHICH I REPLACED. HAS ANYONE EXPERIENCE THIS SORT OF THING AND FOUND A CURE?

It is a vacuum leak. Either the intake manifold gaskets, or otherwise. The EGR was my problem. Took it apart cleaned it meticulously, and runs great. Now that I had my intake off, Problem is I can't find the coolant temp sensor! MUst have unplugged it, but can't find the thing. Where is it? :-)
