1994 Chevy Blazer Fuel Pump Replacement

I replaced the fuel pump and the car wont work. I hear the pump start up and verified that there is gas getting to fuel rail on top of the engine. I have checked the ecm10 fuse and it is fine. All fuses are good. I was told that the 4.3 Vortec engine must have precise fuel pressure or it wont start. What is the spec as far as what PSI the fuel pump needs in order to work. I will check with Autozone to see if they sold me the right psi fuel pump, but I would need to know what the spec is for fuel pressure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
