My car wouldn’t start after leaving it in a parking lot for an hour or two. The engine wouldn’t make any noise when the key was turned. After trying to start it the power locks stopped working. The gauges move when I try to start it and there is a strange clicking, not sure where it is coming from. I was able to jump it after a few tries and drive around for 20-30 mins before taking it home. It has since died again and won’t start (haven’t tried to jump it again).

Good afternoon,

The first thing you need to do is charge the battery. It is dead and not able to maintain the systems.

Then once it is charged, check the voltage It should be 12.6 volts.

Then start it and check the charging system. It should be 14 to 14.5.
