Engine Mechanical problem
2002 BMW 325 Automatic 150000 miles

Hi there,
I wonder if you could help me out to figure out what's wrong with a vehicle which wouldn't even start now. In the morning when I was trying to get to work, it stopped all of a sudden (thank Gog I was still around my apartment complex area). And when I tried to restart it a few times, it cranked but it didn't start. I left the car there and went to work, and when I came back after 4-5 hours, I tried to start the car again but this time it didn't even cranked and obviously didn't start. What do you think the problem might be?
Thanks for your help.

Best,
Canan

Get the battery load tested if okay make sure its cleaned and properly connected-if it cranks over this time and refuses to start-Do below to determine if its a fuel or spark problem

Get a helper disconnect a sparkplug wire or 2 and ground it to the engine atleast 3/16 away from ground-have helper crank engine over-do you have a snapping blue spark? If so-you have a fuel related problem, check the fuel pressure to rule out the fuel filter/fuel pump/pressure regulator and listen to the injector/s are they pulsing or hook up a noid light. No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
