Hi, the isuuse is that I left my car on the garage and the next day it will not start, I figure out that may be the fuel pump and I changed the fuel filter, there was no liking, then I went to check on the riley inside of the interior trunk and seems like everything was fine then I come over to check on the riley close to the engine and exchange riley and the car started but after a few seconds it shut off, I checked the battery and charge it of course but that is not it becuase all lights and the radio is working, I need any sugestion that you may have to fnd out what is wrong. Thanks

It could be the fuel pump itself, check it for proper output. The car will start but wont stay running sounds like fuel pump, also replace the fuel pump relay.

I went to ask for a new relay at auto zone and they told me to switch it off and input a new one to check if that was the problem and also they told me that the fuel relay is close to the engine in the seat driver side and it is a green one, when I change it the fuel pump started to work but it shut off in a few seconds afterwards and the issue ramain, I check the relay that they sold me and it had the same body and it looks the same but the numbers are not the same ones do you know if the green relay that I worked on is really the fuel one? Do you know if I affect any other parts by inputing a relay with diffrent series numbers? And since the fuel pump started to work do you think it is still necesary to replace it? Thanks a lot.

I am confused, did you replace the fuel pump relay? Are you sure it is the correct relay? Often the part numbers supercede and appearance can be confusing.

The car has only one fuel pump. The fuel pump relay can be green, yes. I doubt any damage could occur if the fuel pump relay is replaced with an incorrect part, but anything can happen out there.
