1996 BMW 325 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Alright so i have come across a very great car, the only thing is its throwing a blueish white smoke from the exhaust, now my question is can it be the rings? or is a PCV valve i have heard it can cause this smoke, my friend suggested to put this stuff called NO SMOKE, in the oil, and also clean the injectors? i need an opinion on if this will work or not ?

The engine is burning oil-could be due to valve guides/seals, rings and cylinder wear-do an engine compression check and also a cylinder leakage test

A vacuum leak due to a bad gasket or seal will cause the engine to ingest oil. Do not condemn the rings or top end too quickly. Do some testing to confirm, there are facts not in evidence here.
