Will go dead very quickly, if just listening to music for a bit, so I thought it was because I have an aftermarket pioneer head unit large touchscreen DVD player? Well today would not start again. Would not even roll over? Then tried to jump it and it still wouldn't jump. But I didn't have time to let it sit a while to take the charge. Had to go to work. But when I came home, and opened door the interior lights came on. And my headlights were able to turn on? So then I tried to start it and when it rolled over everything killed immediately. Then no lights. No nothing. I'm not sure what is going on here. We hooked a charger on to it for the night, it did make a click sound right before it killed all the power again. Does anyone have any suggestions. Advice. Or any idea what could be going on? I know nothing about this problem and I really need some input on what I need to do. Thanks. The car had been prior sitting for about five years not driven. But the battery was replaced I believe in the last year.

Hello,

This sounds to me like you have a dead battery. A marginal battery will usually go when the seasons change. They usually can't handle the temperature change. Here are a few links below for you to go to:

It's not the battery. Check that today. It's full of juice as it charged last night.

Hello,

Can you take a voltage reading for me across the battery terminals. I have included a link below if you are unfamiliar with how to use one.
