Car will not start

I have a 02 mustang v6. Went to start my car today and its dead tried to jump start it, had jumper cables hooked up and it started to smoke, by the terminals. Starter has been replaced within last 2 months. Battery & alternator are less than a year old. Tried a different battery and nothing it also seemed to drain the new battery quick. Checked fuses and there okay. Please help im desperate

You're going to have to find out what was smoking and what melted.

I realize that but so far I cannot find anything melted

There are a few fusible links attached to the starter solenoid. They are special sections of wire that melts under load. Grab each one and pull on it and see if any of them stretch to indicate internal melting.
