Girlfriend's A/C has never been serviced. Blowing a little under room temperature, added two small cans of Freon and it got colder. Sweet, I'm the hero! Serviced hose I purchased with cans has no gauges. 2 weeks later, she wanted it colder so I added another small can. Now blows room temperature and the two fans behind radiator cycle on and off every five seconds at idle. Help!

Hello,

It sounds like you have added an excessive amount of refrigerant into the system. It is likely under excessive pressure and the clutch is not functioning properly.
It is important when adding Freon to use a pressure gauge, so you do not overfill the system. As adding over the appropriate amount will not lead to cooler air temperature out of the vent.

A good first step would be to vacuum down the A/C system and recharge to the correct level.
This will get any excess amount of Freon out and will allow you to add the correct amount.

Here is a helpful video on how to do that task:

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you.
