Today my husband replaced the blower motor and when he first turned it on the A/C blew cold, then quit, but the blower fan was still working and we have heat. Not sure what's going on but the A/C was working just fine before we replaced the blower motor. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Good morning,

I attached a wiring diagram of the A/C system for you to view.

The blower has nothing to do with the A/C operation.

Also, I would start by checking the A/C Freon pressures to be sure there is sufficient Freon in the system.
