Hi,

When this happens, does it start right back up or do you have to wait? Also, please understand this vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will try my best to help.

Next, when the engine is running, does the check engine light remain on? If so, have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes. Here is a quick video showing how it's done:

Next, if there is no code, then I would suggest checking the fuel pump pressure to the engine and consider a possible crankshaft position sensor issue.

Here is a link that shows how to test fuel pressure:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/how-to-check-fuel-system-pressure-and-regulator

Also, take a look through this link. It explains common symptoms related to a faulty crankshaft position sensor. Read through it and let me know if it seems to mirror what you experience.

Let me know if it restarts right away, if the problem only happens when the engine is warm, or anything you can think of that may help me diagnose the issue.

Take care,

Joe

Hi my vehicle listed above 3rzfe j95 series seems to cut out on the highway. It starts to gradually shut down then shuts off. Totally have check fuel pump pressure sits at 43 PSI, checked rail pressure sits at 40 PSI, pressure regulator seems to drip fuel to return when idling engine. Otherwise as soon as you accelerate it stops. Have no engine check lights when it cuts out. Have also cleaned throttle body, air flow sensor, and replaced spark plugs and spark plug ht leads. Also replaced fuel pump relay and vehicle still cuts out after about two days of use.

Hi,

This just answered the questions I asked in the other post. LOL

When you say the regulator is dripping, that is a concern. Is the regulator vacuum operated? If it is, remove the vacuum hose and see if there is evidence of fuel getting into the vacuum hose.

Let me know.

Joe
