My vehicle was having trouble running pass 15 MPH, I connected my code reader and it said I had a bad camshaft position sensor P0345 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Bank 2. After replacing the sensor my Pathfinder won't start. It cracks just fine but it won't start (it run idle fine before changing the sensor ) went back to the store and they gave a new sensor, also they suggested to put the old sensor back and run it again, it did not start with neither sensor. Is there a fail safe mode my vehicle went in? Or is there anything that you can suggest? Have you ever experience something similar?

Thanks

Hi,

If you delete the code, does the same one come right back? Have you checked to see if there is spark to the plugs?

I attached a pic below. It indicates possible causes for the code. Check the basics to make sure it isn't a connection or wiring issue. Also, if you do have a live data scanner, check to confirm there is an RPM signal when you are cranking the engine. Here is a link that shows how to check for spark:

Let me know.
