This engine turns over but doesn't start. I checked for power and it is good. So I checked the ground wire on the injector by attaching a wire to the ground wire on the injector and the other end of the wire to a ground and when I turned the key the fuel injector sprayed. So what could my problem be?

This sounds like the crankshaft angle sensor or the fuel pump has gone out, when you turn the key to the on position without cranking the engine over can you hear the fuel pump run in the tank for 5 seconds? These guides should help us fix it:

https://youtu.be/dCjmRL3p4Cs

and

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Also, lets run the codes to see what come up.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

if you can hear the fuel pump prime here is the location of the crankshaft sensor.
Check out the diagrams (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.

We have replaced the starter, the crankshaft sensor, the cam sensor, had the battery tested and none if this seems to work. I was hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I don't want to keep throwing money at none needed parts.
It sounds like there is drag when you try to start the car.
Thank you

Welcome to 2CarPros.

Did this happen all at once? Here is a link that explains how to fix a vehicle that cranks but won't start. Look through this first and let me know if it helps.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/car-cranks-but-wont-start

Also if you can, record the engine cranking so I can hear it. When you say it is turning slow, I'm questioning a few things. If I hear it, it may help.

Let me know what you find or if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe

Hey guys I have the car listed above R/t (5.7). Here’s the short story car started give me what I thought was power issues. Now when I say power issues. I mean car would still be running just couldn’t accelerate I would turn the car off and back on and the car would run fine for weeks. Before I had the problem again until one day I’m going about 120 and the car starts to “lose power “ I figured I can just cut it off and back on but it never came back on mechanic says start with the battery, replaced it Then the alternator replaced it. Still no crank. Now I’m being told I need a new engine I was also told to replace the head gasket but my oil was never checked (my dip stick broke). And my car never overheated or smoked. Side bar: We got the car cranked for about 5 seconds. It had a knock to it but then again the car had been sitting for about four to five months so honestly I expected knocking.
I try to crank it at least once a week, I never get anything.
But today I went to crank it and got clicking from the starter. So I don’t think it’s my engine, but I’m no expert. So here I am asking for the experts opinion

Please help I don't want to buy an engine.

Even setting that long it shouldn't knock. If you're not getting the engine to turn over you can take a socket and a breaker bar and try to turn it over by hand. Disconnect the battery first then see if you can turn the engine over at least two full rotations. If you feel binding or it won't move the next step would be to disconnect the transmission at the torque converter and try again. If it still won't move the engine is gone.

Hello,

An engine knocking is never a good sign. A knock that comes from lower in the engine usually means your engine has a connecting rod problem, which means either a complete rebuild or to buy another engine. I have included a link below for you to go to:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/engine-noises

Please go through the guide and get back to us with what you decide to do. We can help either way.

Thanks,
Alex
