NOT GETTING SPARK TO THE ENGINE

Slowed down as if running out of gas and then came to a complete stop. Engine cranks but will not start, not getting spark to the engine

What motor is it? Have you checked fuses?

V6 engine, fuses are fine, what else could it be?

Take off distributor cap and see if rotor is turning when cranking.

Oops! No distributor? First suspect is crank sensor if timing belt is not broke/stripped.

If crank sensor is fine and cam sensor fine, what else could be causing problem

Ecm controls ignition. It has to be functioning properly and receiving correct info from sensors. The wiring and connectors to it an sensors must be good. Security system has to be giving right signal to let ecm operate.
