I have a 1999 ford ranger 3.0 flex which has problems starting and will stall when running. This problem only occurs in the afternoon on hot days. The truck runs fine in the morning. Have not replaced the fuel pump relay?

You need to see how much fuel pressure at fuel rail at the time when vehicle stalls, best way would be to drive truck with fuel pressure gauge hooked up and taped to windshield, check for intermittent low pressure, I replaced the fuel pump relay fixed it!
