Car door will not open from inside

Car door will not open from inside, I cannot get inspection tag if door will not open, I have to open from the outside help

Most probably the linkages have broken or been dislodged and you need to remove the door panel to check.

If it is the rear doors, ensure the child lock has not been activated.
