Driver rear door wont open

I have replaced the inside door handle twice and always check the child door lock, I have even switched the child lock in both directions and still the door wont open from the inside. I have lubed the linkage inside the door also.

If the child safety lock isn't engaged, the only thing it can be is either a bent, disconnected, or broken linkage or the latch itself is faulty.
