01 Chevy Silverado

I have a 01 chevy silverado. I through my fuel pump was bad I removed it and tested the pump and it ran and shot out gas I then hooked back up outside of the tank and turn the key and I get nothing I check all the fuses and there all good the puzzled please can you help me thank you

Check for power to the pump. If there is no power, check for power at the relay. If there is no power there, work your way back to ignition switch. NOTE: If the security light is on, that will shut power to the fuel pump.
